This position reports to the Manager, Electronic Banking and is responsible for assisting in managing the Electronic Banking department inclusive of deputising for the Manager in his/her absence. The Supervisor will maintain high quality service levels and work standards whilst enhancing the E-banking services and supervising department staff. The successful candidate will function as a self-motivated professional, performing with little or no direct supervision and maintains a high level of enthusiasm that will encourage colleagues to do the same.
Your responsibilities will include:
- collaborating with the Manager to ensure staff are properly trained for their roles, which includes coaching, providing performance feedback and maintenance of vacation schedules
- ensuring procedures are followed and standards are adhered to, so that the team maintains a minimum internal audit rating of “satisfactory”
- assisting with client queries for the Butterfield Online platform
- ensuring that accounts are enabled for online banking and being done correctly in a timely manner
- liaising with other departments within the Bank to expand our Online banking database
- assisting with demos of the Online banking system to customers
- assisting with the preparation of monthly department reports or statistics
Your qualifications and skills include:
- five years’ Retail banking experience or similar, including two years’ at a supervisory level
- good educational background with a minimum of CXC/IGCSE English and Math or equivalent
- ability to grasp a thorough understanding of the online banking service, so as to discuss knowledgeably with clients and colleagues
- computer literacy and very experienced in MS Office products
- strong interpersonal, written, oral communication and leadership skills
