Senior Client Service Administrator
To work as a key member of the Client Services team providing support to the Business and Clients ensuring a high-quality service is given to all tasks relating to all aspects of the firm’s AML / KYC Client identification and set-up process.This involves interaction with colleagues across different departments and external contact with clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Banks' relationship managers to ensure a cohesive approach to client on- boarding
- Review KYC documentation to determine the nature and level of due diligence required to comply with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations.
- Acting as a subject matter expert in regard to AML requirements for medium / high risk clients
- Validating KYC documentation
- Perform the required KYC screening on existing clients by documenting and corroborating the information obtained on the client
- Identification and escalation of any adverse reports associated with clients
- Completion of enhanced due diligence searches for clients and principals associated with high-risk clients
- Liaise with Compliance on specific requirements and regulations arising
- Addressing queries raised by both relationship managers and clients in relation to on- boarding, and other KYC related matters
- Assist the Head of Client Onboarding in new system testing.
- Assist the Head of Client Onboarding in producing reports / stats
Your qualifications and skills include:
- Solid experience and understanding of the AML requirements for a wide range of client types including: Private Individuals, Trusts, Charities and Corporate entities with both simple and complex ownership structures
- In addition to the above, an understanding of the individuals/connected parties that must be identified depending on the client type and deciding what CDD requirements should be applied
- Clear understanding of the various financial crime and reputational risk-factors to consider when onboarding a new client
- Experience in compiling and summarising escalations (PEP sign off, Adverse Media sign off, High Risk client sign off) for Senior Management review. Demonstrate the ability to carry out research, analysis and summarise the results of their findings in a clear manner.
- Sound understanding of how to establish and record Source of Funds / Source of Wealth
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work to agreed deadlines, whilst also contributing to the team as a whole
- Ability to accept change and give feedback on new and developing processes
