This position reports to the Team Leader, Accounting and Control – Card Services and is responsible for the satisfactory execution and delivery of day-to-day duties within agreed deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include:
- ensuring the Bank processes its Debit, Credit and Merchant transactions with external processors and Visa whilst ensuring that transaction files are generated and received daily
- processing wires and drafting fees
- identifying monthly reversals for NSF Autopay
- performing and reviewing daily settlements
- sending entries to proof for posting to FCUBS whilst complying with SOX procedures
- processing entries for monthly charges to merchants
- assisting the reconciliation and settlement teams to investigate any discrepancies
- creating payments lists for Operations in a timely manner
- assisting with the Butterfield Mile Reward programme
- cross training for coverage of duties of colleagues

Your qualifications and skills include:
- an associates’ degree or three years relevant experience
- a strong understanding of bookkeeping and reconciliations
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- high degree of accuracy in all areas of responsibilities
- ability to work with deadlines and prioritise tasks
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
