Relationship Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the relationship management team at our London-based mortgage company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- assisting the Relationship Management team in the management and control of a diverse portfolio of loans secured on real estate
- assisting the Business Development managers with the underwriting of cases referred by panel intermediaries/brokers through to credit approval and completion
- progressing to underwriting mortgage business in accordance with our policies and guidelines
- managing and underwriting annual reviews and renewals of existing facilities in advance of review dates
- supporting the business during a time of considerable growth
- promote and support the aims of BML and the wider Group.
- develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the team to whom you report.
- co-operate with colleagues to promote an open and supportive environment.
- carry out your duties in a careful and professional manner.
- help expand BML's client base in a profitable and compliant manner.
- promote the Group generally to both existing and potential clients.
- ensure that client perception of BML remains good and presents highly professional image to clients at all times
Your qualifications and skills include:
- experience dealing with high net worth individuals
- familiar with bespoke loan underwriting techniques
- ensure personal CPD is regularly updated and development needs are documented.
- good administration skills
- ensure that all client account excesses are reported in accordance with Butterfield’s Policy and procedure
- ensure that all KYC monitoring requirements are completed on time as appropriate.
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- a proactive approach to suggest new ideas/innovation/process change to deliver for client requirements
- CEMAP qualification
- a strong ability to effectively support and build client relationships.
