Lending Specialist, Sales & Origination
This is a key senior role within our CI lending team. It offers the opportunity to work in a growing organisation that is expanding its services in the Channel Islands.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Head of Lending to undertake a lending sales and origination plan.
- Selling and underwriting credit facilities, including corporate loans, residential developments and bespoke transactions.
- Acting as both an internal and external credit advisor.
- Assisting our lending officers and relationship managers in the facilities they underwrite.
- Reviewing loan applications, debating structural situations and delivering professional credit presentations.
- Working with our Credit Risk and Credit Operations teams to ensure credit facilities are within our defined risk strategy.
- Making recommendations for continuous improvement to processes.
- Contributing and presenting into respective credit committees.
- Assisting in the marketing of all CI Lending offerings, both internally and externally.
Your qualifications and skills include:
- Deep credit knowledge with at least 10 years' experience within the industry.
- Proven record of delivery complex credit deals.
- A proven track record of delivering against commercial targets and building high performance teams.
- Excellent technical knowledge of lending products and operations.
- Strong organisations, time management and delegation skills.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant professional qualifications.
