To take responsibility for a designated portfolio of trusts and corporate structures and to complete all assigned tasks and processes, operating within the controls, guidelines and procedures, including assisting/coaching team members where required whilst building relationships and ensuring quality day to day service to existing clients and seeking to enhance business revenues.
A Assistant Manager’s competency level is determined based on experience, knowledge, qualifications and responsibilities undertaken in line with the position description overview and Trust Manager discretion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance of records, statutory or otherwise;
- Ensure the review and monitoring of Investment portfolios in accordance with communicated Policies & Procedures;
- Proactively work with colleagues and groups to ensure timely delivery of client data;
- Ensure invoices for the team are raised in a timely fashion;
- Setting SMART objectives;
- Monitoring performance and giving feedback;
- Providing on the job training;
- Delegation of tasks and follow-up for completion;
- Maintain awareness of the regulatory environment in which we operate;
- Ensure revcomps (Review Comments Compliance) are completed and any action points diarised for follow-up;
- Act as primary and/or back up relationship manager for a number of clients in the team;
- Seek opportunities to develop and enhance relationships.
Your qualifications and skills include:
- A minimum of four/five years relevant experience in the trust field;
- Final stages of a professional qualification e.g. ICSA certificate or STEP Foundation;
- A commitment to a career in trust and company administration;
- Strong knowledge and experience of offshore trust and company administration;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- The ability to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate level;
- Strong team skills and be flexible to change and the needs of the business;
- Analytical skills and be detail orientated; Excellent personal organisation and time management skills including: -
- The ability to prioritise and focus on the most urgent and important task;
- The ability to work in a deadline/volume driven environment whilst maintaining accuracy and focus.
