Accounting & Control Administrator, Card Services
Reporting to the Team Leader of Accounting & Control - Card Services Finance Team, the administrator is primarily responsible for the execution of the daily Bermuda issuing & acquiring settlements for MasterCard, Visa & AMEX, compiling information from various sources. They will also prepare wires and assist in providing audit support as required. A high degree of accuracy is required along with the ability to meet daily deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include:
- processing the main MasterCard and Visa settlement package for the daily Issuing and Acquiring business for Bermuda
- completing the Visa Acquiring settlements for Bermuda
- posting and authorizing daily settlement entries into FlexCube (retail Banking System)
- producing daily wires for payments to various vendors
- completing the calculation of premiums for our Balance Protection programme
- researching credit card payments that were processed incorrectly
- providing support for internal and external audit requests
Your qualifications and skills include:
- associate’s degree or three years of relevant experience
- sound understanding of reconciliations and general knowledge of the card business
- strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and adapt to change
- demonstrates a high degree of accuracy, problem-solving, and research skills
- ability to meet daily deadlines and demonstrates a strong collaborative approach
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
