2026 Butterfield Scholarships Awarded

St. Peter Port, Guernsey and St. Helier, Jersey—9 September 2026: Butterfield has awarded its annual scholarships to three promising students including a talented student from Guernsey, Charlotte Dorey, who will receive US$30,000 for the upcoming academic year. The scholarships can be maintained for up to four academic years.
Charlotte has been awarded the Butterfield Channel Islands Undergraduate Scholarship, which is available to an outstanding student who is pursuing an undergraduate degree. The scholarship funds will go towards her studies in Management at ESCP Business School in Paris.
Through her studies, Charlotte is expanding her knowledge of core business fundamentals such as accounting and microeconomics, accompanied by further insight into rhetoric, business law and international relations. Outside of her academic studies, Charlotte has been an advocate for the voice of Guernsey’ young people as a member of the Youth Commission, as well as completing charity work overseas in Kenya, teaching English and computer science to students at schools in Turi.
Richard Saunders, Butterfield’s Managing Director of the Channel Islands & UK, said, “We are delighted to award this Channel Islands focused scholarship to Charlotte and look forward to following her ongoing success. Butterfield continues to invest in education and provide opportunities for our young people with a view to empowering the next generation to achieve their career ambitions.”
