


Michelle Le Blond
Michelle joined Butterfield in 2018 after building up over 20 years of financial services experience in the Channel Islands. During this time, Michelle held a number of leadership roles, gaining experience in business strategy, securities and investments, and customer services. Michelle was appointed to our Vice President, Client Services in 2021, heading up the Account Relationship Managers, Customer Service Team, Middle Office Control and the Tax team at Butterfield Jersey. She is primarily responsible for providing the leadership and direction necessary to ensure that the Bank delivers high-quality client service functions in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements. Michelle holds the Yellow and Green Belt Lean Management Six Sigma, Prince 2 Practitioner and Investment Administration (Merit Award – IAQ).
Julian joined Butterfield in 2022, having spent 10 years leading Barclays Private Bank’s Mortgage Distribution Team across the offshore islands of Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man & Gibraltar. Julian has over 30 years’ experience in mortgages for both UK mainland and offshore island multinational companies.
Julian is leading Butterfield’s expansion into the Jersey mortgage market, assisting clients looking to borrow for their first purchase through to those with more complex and bespoke lending solutions.
Charlotte Beddoe
Charlotte joined Butterfield in June 2020 as Vice President, Country Compliance Officer Jersey before becoming our Head of Compliance CI/UK. Charlotte sits on the Jersey Management Committee and ensures that our regulatory requirements and best practices are adhered to. Charlotte previously worked at Bedell Cristin as Group Head of Compliance and Risk, and has 25 years' experience in the finance industry. She holds the ICA Diploma in Anti Money Laundering, ICA Diploma in Compliance, STEP Diploma in International Trust Management, CISI Level 3 in Islamic Finance, Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Directions and a Bachelor of Laws. She is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association (ICA).


Daniel joined the Butterfield team in 2019 having gained experience in various roles at Deutsche Bank International Limited. At Butterfield, Daniel is a member of the Jersey Management Committee with the primary responsibility for both Operational and Credit Risk. He also holds the role of Money Laundering Reporting Officer. Daniel holds the ICA International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance and is a member of the International Compliance Association (ICA).
Colin Huelin, ACSI
Colin joined Butterfield in 2018. Previously, he spent eight years as a Senior Relationship Manager at Citibank looking after HNW clients based mainly in London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Colin Huelin, ACSI
Colin joined Butterfield in 2018. Previously, he spent eight years as a Senior Relationship Manager at Citibank looking after HNW clients based mainly in London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He has also worked as a financial adviser to HNW clients at both HSBC and Bank of Scotland International, and prior to this an Assistant Portfolio Manager in the Investment Team at Kleinwort Benson. Colin’s focus is on broadening and strengthening existing intermediary relationships, as well as sourcing new intermediary business for the Group. Daniel is responsible for providing corporate banking solutions to our intermediary clients, including Trust Companies and Corporate Service Providers, Fund Administrators and Family Offices. Prior to Butterfield, Daniel spent 6 years at Barclays in the UK and Jersey primarily working in the fiduciaries sector. Before joining the banking industry, Daniel served as a Commissioned Officer in the British Army (Royal Engineers) for more 10 years. Daniel is a qualified Chartered Manager (Chartered Management Institute), a CFA Level 3 candidate, and member of the CFA Institute. He holds an undergraduate degree in Japanese from the University of Leeds.
Bronte Robson
Bronte is our Relationship Manager and her role focusses on to working with our local financial intermediary business clients and establishing new relationships in that area. Bronte joined Butterfield in 2022 as an Account Manager before progressing to her current role. Prior to Butterfield, Bronte gained experience in retail banking, looking after clients based in Southern Africa. Bronte holds a First-Class BSc (Hons) International Financial Services degree and is currently working towards her Investment Advice Diploma (IAD).

David Cardwell
David Cardwell joined as Local Market Developer for Butterfield’s Jersey office in March 2025, bringing over 35 years of experience in the financial industry. David leads the business development activities for Butterfield in Jersey across our range of business lines. Day-to-day, David supports the banking needs of our local clients and businesses, as well as developing relationships within the trust and corporate services sector. Prior to Butterfield, David spent the previous nine years leading the Private Client function at Investec Jersey, where he gained key experience in relationship management. Throughout his career he has looked after a wide range of clients based in London, South Africa and Jersey. He holds the ‘Award in Financial Planning’ certificate.

Simon joined Butterfield in early 2024 and is focussed on broadening and strengthening existing and new relationships within the Jersey mortgage market, while also assisting local clients looking to borrow for their first purchase through to those with more complex and bespoke lending solutions.
Prior to joining Butterfield, Simon spent 14 years with RBSI/NatWest International, Premier & Mortgages solutions and 8 years working for HSBC Bank as Premier Banking Manager, looking after international expats living and working in the UK plus locally based Jersey clients.
Cheryl joined Butterfield in 2021, bringing over a decade’s experience in Credit Operations, supporting lending specialists, and becoming one herself. Cheryl brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, having previously held roles at RBC Jersey and Standard Chartered Bank Jersey. In her current role, she is focused on broadening and strengthening existing and new relationships within the Jersey market, assisting local clients, from first time buyers to more complex, bespoke lending.



Tania da Silva, IAQ
Tania joined Butterfield from Deutsche Bank when it was acquired by the Group in 2018. With more than 23 years' experience in client-facing roles, Tania specialises in banking and custody work and in 2021 re-joined Butterfield's relationship management team to help effectively deliver its strategic objectives. Tania is a skilled and experienced professional who has worked on a variety of client portfolios throughout her career including ultra-high net worth individuals, private equity funds and intermediaries. She holds the Investment Administration Qualification (IAQ), Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is working towards her Investment Advice Diploma (IAD).
Milton Freitas, CeMAP
Milton joined Butterfield in 2021 as a Lending Specialist on the Channel Islands Mortgages team. Milton has assisted local clients with mortgage solutions ranging from first time buyers and re-mortgages to more bespoke lending solutions until he joined our Local Banking Team as a Relationship Manager in late 2023. Milton has extensive and varied experience in Customer Service and Sales roles, most recently with RBSI/NatWest International as a Personal Mortgage Arranger and a Premier Relationship Manager. Highlighting his exceptional Customer Service and rapport with clients, Milton was a finalist in the 2019 Jersey Evening Post Pride of Jersey Awards for Customer Service Employee of the Year and received the RBSI Innovating to meet Customers’ Needs and Courtesy Awards. Milton holds the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice. (CeMAP)
Seb Poole has over 12 years’ experience of working in the finance industry. Specialising in international retail banking, FX, financial reviews and planning, he joined Butterfield in Jersey in early 2023 as a Relationship Manager.
He is focussed on strengthening client relationships, identifying their needs and providing solutions, as well as advising on our product offering. Seb holds a MIBLF DipFA and L4 Diploma in Financial Advice and Investments.
