Junior Treasury Execution Dealer
Support the day to day management of the BBJLs Treasury Execution services and investment portfolio. Ensure the delivery of high quality, professional and timely execution dealing (FX, MM, Securities and Funds) to all clients of the Bank in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide clients with quotations of foreign exchange rates and cover within the interbank market with the Bank’s authorised counterparties.
- Monitor spot and forward foreign exchange exposure and action as necessary to ensure that they remain within prescribed limits including intraday and end of day spot and forward limits, stop- loss limits and total exposure limits, as applicable.
- To assist with the maintenance of accurate client foreign exchange dealing statistics for monitoring and management information purposes.
- Day to day management liquidity positions against internal and regulatory limits and policies.
- Contribute to the maintenance of appropriate money market limits through careful monitoring of counterparty and interest gap limits and the recommendation of any changes required.
- Provide bid-side rates for client deposits.
Your qualifications and skills include:
- A minimum of three years’ banking experience gained in an active market or back office environment with particular exposure of inter-bank money and foreign exchange markets, Securities and Fund Execution. ACI Dealing Certificate qualified or equivalent is desired to enable a sound knowledge and understanding of the workings of the international Treasury and Capital markets, the instruments traded thereon and associated risks benefits, however full training will be provided.
- A stable and calm temperament to work accurately and effectively under the pressures arising from working in active markets with high value ticket items and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent numerical, communication and inter-personal skills for the clear and concise giving of instructions and advice.
- Strong personal organisation and time management skills.
- Willing to study for a relevant professional investment qualification – level 4 or higher.
