Your primary role will be to ensure that live wire screening processes are acted on promptly, in accordance with strict timelines. In addition, you will provide support to compliance to ensure the Group’s Compliance and Financial Crime policies and procedures follow best practice in terms of meeting legislative and regulatory requirements through tracking and research. This position is a first step in a career in compliance, where training and development will be provided.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the full range of activities conducted by the Compliance department, including sanctions screening, enquiries from law enforcement and regulators, MI production and data analytics
- Learning to communicate compliance and risk management standards to colleagues across the business
- Learning to recognise when standards have not been met and flagging to management, where appropriate.
Your qualifications and skills include:
- 0-2 years Compliance or Financial Crime experience
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Confidence to approach management and internal stakeholders on Compliance and Financial Crime standards
- Data analysis and maintenance of accurate records
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a team
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining standards and absolute confidentiality and discretion.
