We are looking for a new team member to join our Institutional Custody Department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- assisting with identifying and promoting Butterfield's Institutional Custody and Custodian Trustee services
- assisting in managing the relationships where Butterfield provides custody service for funds and institutional clients, ensuring that quality of client service is paramount
- ensuring that all queries and communications are responded to in a timely manner
- developing and maintaining good client relationships and reporting techniques
- from time-to-time undertaking other specific duties, tasks or projects as may be agreed with the VP, Institutional Custody
- reviewing new business for institutional clients and progressing to secure additional assets under custody
- assisting with identifying clients and professional contacts with whom a broader and more acctive relationship could be developed
- maintaining excellent client relationships with private and institutional clients
- assisting with reviewing existing private client and institutional custody business to ensure that it remains financially viable and profitable
- considering services and products where the bank may currently be lacking in competitiveness and making associated recommendations.
Your qualifications and skills include:
- excellent communication skills, confident in dealing with all levels of personnel
- an excellent working knowledge of local CDD requirements and account opening processes
- excellent administrative skills
- the ability to cross sell and enhance and develop relationships
- an excellent working knowledge of the securities markets including funds, hedge funds and other alternative investments
