Finance Officer
We need an officer in our finance team to provide support across our Channel Islands and UK business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the purchase ledger, system interest rates and the petty cash register.
- Ensuring vendors are paid and dealing with any queries they may have.
- Producing weekly reconciliations.
- Preparing and analysing daily business reports.
- Participating in the monthly financial close process.
- Assisting in the production of management accounts, group reporting packs and regulatory submissions.
- Supporting the team during audit.
Your qualifications and skills include:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance department using a purchase ledger or similar finance system.
- Good organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proven IT skills and knowledge of network applications including Microsoft Office or similar.
- Ability to work under own initiative.
- Good communication skills.
