Responsible for Cyber Security assessments, threat modelling, delivery of security guidance and awareness across Butterfield Group. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to continue to develop their Information and Cyber Security career, gain further insight into the industry and build experience across a number of Information and Cyber Security knowledge areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of security risk assessment/threat modelling for projects, changes and initiatives across Butterfield Group.
- Assisting with the development of training and awareness programmes, security standards, risk assessment and threat modelling strategy.
- Assist with identification of top human and cyber risks to our organization and the behaviours we need to change to mitigate those risks. Partake in technical design reviews, integration, testing, and documentation work.
- Working with project managers, IT and business stakeholders to deliver secure technology and process solutions for all aspects of banking carried out by Butterfield Group.
Your qualifications and skills include:
- 2 years plus of experience identifying threats and developing appropriate protection measures with experience of working in a Cyber Security environment.
- Ability to review system changes for security implications and recommending improvements
- Understanding of cyber security methodologies
- Drive and the resilience to try new ideas, if the first one doesn't work. You'll be expected to work with minimal supervision, so it's important that you're able to motivate yourself
- A collaborative approach to sharing ideas and finding solutions.
- Good team player, self-confident, motivated, and independent
- Ability to form complex ‘communications / messages’ in a simple, clear and concise manner to the various communities within our organization. This can include different cultures, nationalities, international locations and languages.
- Display practical knowledge of different message distribution techniques to ensure end user communities understand and continually apply the required behavioral change necessary to reduce the ‘human factors’ risk. Ability to multi-task with a calm demeanor and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Veteran enterprise-level security strategic planning experience can be an added advantage
