This position reports to the VP, Credit Operations Lead and will be responsible for roles carried out by the Credit Operations department. We are looking for an experienced applicant and the level of the role will be dependent on experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- assisting in ensuring that all credit procedures and administration are carried out in accordance with our policies
- maintaining the quality of the loan book administration, ensuring that appropriate authorisations are obtained, and credit facility documentation - including legal documentation, security documentation and legal opinions - are obtained efficiently
- participating full on projects, or any other ad hoc requirements, for the overall benefit of the Channel Island operation
- producing facility letters for successful applicants
- achieving or surpassing daily/weekly targets
- delivery exceptional client service
- recommending continuous improvement to processes
Your qualifications and skills include:
- experience of issuing credit facilities and/or general credit competency
- drive and determination to work in a fast-paced business environment with clear weekly/monthly targets
- diligent and high level of attention to detail, even when working under pressure
- capable of identifying red flags and anomalies
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- strong organisation and time management skills
- strong IT skills
