This position reports to the Relationship Manager, Private Banking and is responsible for providing sales and service support to the Private Banking management team and clients. The incumbent will be required to work closely with support units across the Bank to ensure optimum operational efficiency in the delivery of outstanding client service to our Private Banking client base, whilst maintaining excellent client relationship skills. The incumbent should be a strong team player with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and efficiently respond to urgent client needs in a timely manner.
Your responsibilities will include:
- assisting the Private Banking team with the managing, developing and growing of high net worth clients whilst achieving specific business development and sales targets
- assisting the team to identify potential sources of new business, additional revenue, operational efficiencies and other income generating measures
- cross-selling of products and services available to the Private Banking clients across the organisation
- daily administration and relationship management of the Private Banking client base
- client interaction through meetings and specific events
- assisting with the implementation, marketing and sales of any new products launched within the Private Banking division
- on-boarding of clients in line with Group and regulatory compliance standards
- creating reports from the client database to ensure that regular contact is maintained with all clients
- staying well informed of all current social, economic and political influences on the financial markets that may impact our business. This includes staying up to date with current affairs, both locally and internationally.
Your qualifications and skills include:
- bachelor’s degree is preferred with a minimum of 5 years relevant banking experience
- international wealth management experience required (for example: trust, asset management, estate planning)
- thorough understanding of global regulations covering banking and compliance requirements
- proven client and sales track record
- high level of computer proficiency, specifically with regard to Microsoft Office
- effective oral, written, and presentation skills
- self-motivated and proactive approach to client sales and business development
- organised and works well independently, with the ability to prioritise and efficiently handle high volumes of work
- must be flexible and able to multi-task in a relatively calm and professional manner
- ability to work in a high dynamic client environment
