Cash in Transit (CIT) Supervisor
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President Vault/ATM/Bulk Deposits, the Cash in Transit (CIT) Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the daily operations of the Bank’s Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) administration, and Cash in Transit (CIT) team. The incumbent will also work closely with the AVP in managing the ATM network to ensure it is optimal, identifying and implementing enhancements to daily work flows. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 35-hours a week, on-call which includes evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the ATM network and CIT Team.
- Working directly with team members to complete the annual performance cycle including goal settings, quarterly reviews, arrange training and performance management.
- Ensuring that proper threat and risk assessments are conducted to ensure overall security of team members, the ATMs, the trucks, and the surrounding area.
- Scheduling the CIT Team to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Supervising CIT collections & deliveries of all cash and coin.
- Maintaining coin machines and coin collections from various locations.
- Ensuring CIT Team is working within established procedures, policies, procedures and controls at all times.
- Completing reports timely and accurately.
- Ensuring that all ATM equipment, supplies, issues, faults and call outs are acted on or reported in a timely, responsible manner.
- Assessing ATM procedures and make recommendations to Management on improvements that are within the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Keeping abreast of changes in ATM technology and make recommendations for staff training on new technology.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by Management related to ATM servicing and Vault Administration.
Your qualifications and skills include:
- Five years’ work experience in a financial institute, including experience supervising or managing teams.
- A minimum of three years’ handling large cash volumes, coupled with a minimum of five years’ experience working in a security environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as good interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work outside of normal working hours when required.
- Valid heavy truck driving license with the ability to lift heavy items.
- Knowledge of ATMs would be considered an asset.
- Good computer and mathematical skills.
- Strong organization skills and customer service oriented.
