Cash in Transit (CIT) Administrator
Reporting to the Cash in Transit (CIT) Supervisor, the Cash in Transit (CIT) Administrator is responsible for replenishing the Bank’s Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) island-wide. The incumbent’s responsibilities include performing First Line Maintenance (FLM), servicing ATMs as required, collecting deposits, and delivering to Butterfield’s banking branches in accordance with established procedures and controls. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 35-hours a week, and on-call, which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing all duties with the highest level of safety, security and optimal care and controls at all times.
- Assisting in monitoring the Banks ATM network to ensure ATMs remain optimal.
- Completing all cash in transit duties, including cash replenishments of ATMs, branches, coin machines and ATM deposit collections.
- Performing first line maintenance on all ATMs that including changing receipt rolls and ink cartridges, replenishing deposit envelopes and ensuring machines are fully operational with agreed service level agreements.
- Ensuring all ATM faults are resolved or escalated timely.
- Logging all divert bins, installed or removed, from the ATM’s while ensuring divert bins are in good order.
- Securing and returning to the Main Cash Vault all cash from divert bins and ATMs.
- Delivering and collecting captured cards to Card Services.
- Correcting any technical errors due to replenishment problems.
- Attending any additional training required for updates on ATM hardware and software.
- Maintaining coin machine and collecting coins from various locations.
- Working within established procedures and ensuring that Bank policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Handling all ATM equipment, supplies and customer card details in a responsible manner.
- Conducting threat and risk assessments to ensure security of team members, the ATMs the trucks and the surrounding area.
- Interacting professionally with customers.
- Performing any other duties that may be assigned.
Your qualifications and skills include:
- Three years’ experience in financial services including handling large cash volumes.
- A minimum of three years’ experience working in a security environment would be an advantage.
- A valid heavy truck driving license would be an asset.
- Prior knowledge of ATMs or an Information Technical background would be an advantage.
- Ability and willingness to work outside of normal working hours, including the ability to adjust working hours with minimal notice and overtime.
- Highly motivated and energetic with the ability to consistently meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a deadline driven environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and mathematical skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Strong organization skills and a customer service orientation.
