The annual rankings reviews the best independent and non-independent trust companies, providing international private clients and their advisors with a detailed analysis of the leading fiduciary service providers.

The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited has announced that its Singapore-based subsidiary, Butterfield (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., will be operating under a new name, and will be known as Butterfield Trust (Asia) Limited with immediate effect.
Almost three years after establishing its Trust company in Singapore, Butterfield initiated the rebrand to reflect the business’s focus on providing Trust and Fiduciary Services to clients throughout Asia.

Butterfield & Son Limited (“Butterfield”) announced it will be providing existing clients who have personal loans and mortgages in good standing (i.e., current or less than 30 days delinquent) with the option of deferring loan payments by another three months should they be facing ongoing financial difficulty due to the impact of COVID-19 on their incomes.
The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited (“Butterfield”) today issued a reminder to its personal lending and mortgage clients in Bermuda that the automatic payment deferral programme that was put in place for personal loans and mortgages in good standing over the three-month period beginning 1 April 2020 will end on 30 June 2020.
Clients wishing to avail themselves of the payment deferral offer for an additional three months (to 30 September 2020) must notify Butterfield to opt in. Deferrals will no longer be automatic.
