Mr. Wiggan is an international career banker with over 35 years of experience. Before being named Managing Director in Barbados, Mr. Wiggan held the position of Senior Vice President, Retail Banking at the Butterfield’s Head Office in Bermuda.
 

Mr. Wiggan spent over 20 years at Citicorp where he held a number of senior positions, including that of Vice President and Senior Country Operations Officer for that bank’s Jamaica operations.
 

He also worked as a consultant with Scotiabank and with the Government of Jamaica, coordinating the merger of several distressed financial entities.
 

His educational qualifications and professional developments include Senior Executive Management Programmes at the University of Illinois; Trinity College in Ireland and several advanced banking programmes in the U.S., the Caribbean and Latin America.
