Mr. Lawrence oversees the Bank's treasury dealing activities, such as foreign exchange, trading on financial markets worldwide and management of the Bank's market risk and liquidity. Before joining the Bank, he gained extensive experience in international treasury in a number of senior management roles within the international financial community, including 25 years at Exco Group in London, Hong Kong and New York and as an SVP at ICAP. He is a member of the Advisory Board for the Financial Engineering Department at Kent State University and a former member of the Wholesale Money Market Association. Mr. Lawrence is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants having qualified with Arthur Young and received a Combined Honours BA Degree in Economics and Statistics at Exeter University.
