Victor G. Dodig is Senior Executive Vice-President, CIBC and Group Head, Wealth Management, with responsibility for CIBC’s asset management, retail brokerage and private wealth management businesses.  He has a broad-based business background and has played a leadership role within CIBC since joining the organization in 2005.  From 2002 to 2005, he was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in Canada for UBS Global Asset Management.  Before that, he spent five years as Managing Director in Canada, the US and the UK for Merrill Lynch and Company, a position he took on following three years as a Management Consultant with McKinsey and Company.  Mr. Dodig holds an MBA from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto (St. Michael’s College).  He also holds a Diploma from the Institut D’Études Politiques in Paris.
